Every Saturday I try to make it a must to go downtown with Andy for one of his classes. We park a couple miles outside of the city and bike in. It's an amazing experience riding your bike in downtown SF. The smell, the sights, the workout, the company. I love it. We lock my bike up in Union Square and I go shopping while Andy goes to class. It's always a fun day-date with my sweets.

It was our ward Halloween Party last night. I forgot my phone and therefore didn't take any pictures. It was a fun night! We were a hit! *_* I dressed up as a zoo keeper. I wore a white polo ( I had a lion resting on my shoulder), tan skirt, andy's long brown socks,  tennis shoes, topped off with a zookeeper/hiking hat with strings that cinch in the front and I changed my work name tag to say HOGLE ZOO. I wanted a stuffed stuffed toy snake to put around my neck, but I couldn't find one anywhere! Andy wore black shoes/shorts, an orange shirt and I painted his face like a tiger. Indi wore the same costume as last year- she was a hippo- decked out with freshly painted pink nails!

Our ward had a lot of different games/food. Andy and I were in charge of running the fishing game. I was helping the little kids cast their line in the front, while Andy played as the fish in the back. He would really get in to it and pull and tug on the little kids line. The bigger kids would cast their line and accidentally hit Andy in the head! I got a good laugh :) Every ten kids or so, he would pull extremely hard on the line and hook the clothes pin to Indi's collar and lift her up over the blue sheet. The little kid would say" Mommy I caught a dog, I caught a dog!" Andy is so good with kids. Fortunate for me, he will make a great Dad someday.

We had Trunk O' Treat afterwords in the parking lot. After the same kids came to our car saying"trick or treat" for the fifth time in a row, I knew that everyone else had run out of candy! I'm so mean. I put the almost demolished bowl of candy in the front seat and said that we ran out of candy.

What a night!

Happy Halloween everyone!

If you have Netflix, I suggest typing in "Dreamworks Spooky Stories."

where we live.

Andy and I found this trail that runs along Highway 1, right behind where we live. Photo #1 is Highway 1. This is the road that runs alongside the ocean. I drive on it everyday to and from work. I see the sun just barely coming up every morning. Its gorgeous.Photo #2 is a picture of where we live. It's a really small town, with gorgeous views, gorgeous houses a beautiful beach(literally three minute walk away) and fun trails to hike, run and bike on.

Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival.

Half Moon Bay is a town just a few miles South from where we live. It's know for it's pumpkin festival, so we thought that we had better check it out. The pumpkins were HUGE there. I have never seen a bigger pumpkin in my life. It's the "World Pumpkin Capital." The world record heaviest pumpkin was there weighing in at 1,810.5 pounds. My favorite part was the fabulous pumpkin ice cream and watching  the Picasso of Pumpkin Carvers (Farmer Mike), carve some amazing designs into gigantic pumpkins. Andy enjoyed his pork sausage dog, while I enjoyed going to an organic fruit/vegetable stand on the side of the road. I also picked out a perfectly rounded pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. We ate the corn from the stand tonight. DELICIOUS.

Fleet Week.

We enjoyed watching all of the different varieties of planes during fleet week last weekend. It was so busy. We ended up riding our bikes in the parade to avoid all of the people. Indi came along too- She rode
inside Andy's backpack. She loved it.

General Conference.

I love Conference Weekend. The talks and testimonies that are born are so spiritually uplifting. All of the talks were great. Listed are a few of the key points from several talks that I love.

-Focus on Christ, not of the things of the world. Seek first to build up the world (kingdom of God.)
-It is never to hard or too late to repent and correct your life.
-Study ponder and converse with God daily.
-Don't just say your prayers, live them.
-The Lord has a hand in ALL things.
-The gospel gives meaning, purpose and hope in our lives.
-Lose yourselves in doing unselfish service for others.
-Prayer is one of the most precious gifts given to man.
-I am the light and life of the world. His resurrection assures us that we can be forgiven and live forever.

Isn't our Gospel beautiful? I was extra emotional this conference, more than ever. The spirit was so strong, I couldn't resist. I am always learning something new about our church. I still have a lot to learn and love it. Andy is so patient and always explains my *silly* questions. He's a keeper.

Have a beautiful week!
